NOTICE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY SALE

MABTON SCHOOL DISTRICT #120
Mabton, Washington

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Mabton School District #120 has declared certain district-owned personal property to be surplus and/or obsolete pursuant to RCW 28A.335.180.

The surplus property will be made available for purchase in the following order:

Public and Private Schools
Dates: August 5–6, 2026
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Eligible public and private schools within the State of Washington will have the opportunity to inspect and purchase surplus items during the dates and times listed above.

If any surplus property remains available, the District will conduct a public surplus sale as follows:

Viewing and Sealed Bid Submission: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Sealed bids must be received by 12:00 p.m. on August 10, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on August 10, 2026. Successful bidders will be notified following the bid opening.

All surplus property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding condition, fitness, or usability. The purchaser is solely responsible for loading, transporting, and removing purchased property by the date specified by the District.

The Mabton School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, remove items from the sale at any time, and accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the District.

The District encourages prospective purchasers to inspect all property prior to submitting a bid. No refunds or exchanges will be made after the sale. Y
